I have to say that even before Aveline was born, I couldn’t wait to be a ‘class mom’. My parents were always volunteering to chaperon trips, bring in goodies and just generally help out and I have so many fond memories of those times. Since Aveline is only 3, we’re not quite at the chaperon level, yet – but I still relish in having the opportunity in bring in fun treats for her class parties.
For the past two years, when it came time to sign up to bring in goodies for Halloween, I decided to pull together some of Aveline’s favorite snacks. I started researching snack boards but a lot of the Halloween specific ones I was finding included cookies, candy, or sweets and I had signed up to bring in cheese, crackers, and fruit. I ultimately ended up piecing together a few different ideas I saw across Pinterest and Instagram and was so happy with how they turned out.

For this board I included the following:
- Polly-O string cheese
- I drew on ghost faces, with sharpie marker
- Yellow Cheddar, White Cheddar, and Colby Jack cheeses
- I bought the larger wedges and sliced long ways, then used cookie cutters to cut them into witches hats, cats, cauldrons, pumpkins, and BOO shapes.

- Sensible Portions Halloween Shaped Veggie Chips
- I’ve been able to find these in Whole Foods, Wegmans, Krogers, and Sam’s Club
- Utz Halloween’Bats & Jacks’ Pretzels
- I’ve been able to get these at Wal-mart and Sam’s Club
- Cheeze-it’s
- Clementines, with celery stems
- Ritz Crackers
