6 Pieces That Will Easily Elevate Your Fall Home Decor

This year has been a whirlwind to say the least. Covid hit NY right as we were welcoming our daughter into the world and with parental leave and our lease renewal coinciding, we decided to take the opportunity to leave the city and spend time closer to family.

It’s been weird being away from Brooklyn, but after renting a house, hard to imagine going back to a 900 square foot apartment. Regardless of where we end up once this is all over, we’ve been embracing home rentership, inclusive of adding our own little touches to make it really feel like home.

Fall is one of my favorite seasons, so I’m excited to share a few simple pieces that can easily elevate your space!

Pumpkins! This one probably goes unsaid, because pumpkins are the quintessential fall decor, but they really do make such a difference! This year we actually went pumpkin picking (love those socially distanced outdoor activities) but we could have also easily picked some up from the local grocery store, Lowes or Home Depot.
Not into the real deal? Check out these knitted chunky chenille pumpkins by Etsy Seller KozyKnitDesigns instead. They come in a variety of colors and sizes and would look great in an entryway or on a mantel.
I am obsessed with these candles from Etsy Seller PerpetualBlissCo. They are almost too pretty to burn! The copper tones scream Fall to me and I just love how they exude a simple elegance.
Wreaths are one of those decor items that can easily change the vibe of a space. Growing up my mom would hang one over our fireplace and for Holidays, on our front door. Etsy Seller WildRidgeDesign has a wide range of options to chose from for any occasion and I love the burnt orange hue of this one for Fall.
One thing I immediately think of when decorating for Fall is Thanksgiving and the table that come with it. Table runners are an easy decor element that can really make a statement. Etsy Seller juliepeach has some of the most beautiful hand stamped options, offering napkins and pillows too!
Garlands are another low effort decor staple that can have a huge impact. I love this one from Etsy Seller GracieAndMarie but there are a number of options, with varying styles on Etsy. View more here.

typical valentine’s weekend events... right?! typical valentine’s weekend events... right?!
HOW is my baby 11 months old already?! These day HOW is my baby 11 months old already?!

These days Aveline is really into walking, giving high fives, giving “kisses” (which is basically just open mouth to the face), blowing raspberries on my tummy (which is also basically just open mouth to my stomach), hugging Summit, loving on her friends from school, morning dance parties, and snuggling with her da-da.

Her little personality is developing every day and she’s so sweet, funny and just cool.

Time can seriously slow down now... at least for the next 28 days #almostone #elevenmonthsold #avelinereynolds
